A group of businesses and organisations have formed an alliance to lobby for the creation of an overland flight corridor for the testing of supersonic aircraft in Washington State, USA.
The Supersonic Flight Alliance wants to designate a 300-mile corridor of airspace over eastern Washington so commercial supersonic aircraft can be flight tested and certified overland.
The Alliance has been formed by Washington-based aerospace testing company AeroTEC, the Port of Moses Lake airport and industrial center and the business groups Choose Washington and the Aerospace Futures Alliance.
