Launch abort test for Orion spacecraft

The second ground test of the Launch Abort Motor for NASA’s Orion spacecraft was conducted at Northrop Grumman’s facility in Promontory, Utah, on 13 December 2018. The Launch Abort Motor is an integral part of the Launch Abort System for NASA’s Orion spacecraft that will launch atop NASA’s Space Launch System.
