Waygate Technologies, a Baker Hughes business and a world leader in industrial nondestructive testing solutions, is expanding its VideoProbe portfolio for remote visual inspection.

The new Everest Mentor Flex VideoProbe is designed for everyday use in a variety of industries, including the aviation and energy sectors.

Equipped with high power steering motors and all way articulation, the Everest Mentor Flex VideoProbe guarantees visibility in every direction including hard to reach inspection parts.

A wide range of probe diameter and length options and a variety of optical tip adapters make the high performance borescope adaptable to any use case in remote visual inspection.

To streamline the data analysis and decision making process as well as reduce downtime, the Everest Mentor Flex offers wireless connectivity that allows for wireless video streaming, data transfer to iOS devices, and software updates.

Modern features like the Menu Directed Inspection (MDI) also make everyday inspection easier and help to improve process efficiency at every level – from intelligently auto-tagging images to auto-generating reports. The Everest Mentor Flex’s virtual keyboard enables faster annotation while its multi point touchscreen provides an intuitive gesture-based user interface.

“Over the past years, our customers across numerous sectors have signaled to us that their industry is becoming increasingly complex, while at the same, they are facing high pressure to make faster and yet reliable inspection decisions,” said Paul Thompson, global technical support and training manager at Waygate Technologies. “With the Everest Mentor Flex, we are offering a simple solution to meet these demands. Its high performance and industry-leading features facilitate faster and more accurate everyday inspections and help our customers to make critical decisions with confidence.”
