Textron eAviation, the US aerospace company’s electric aviation business unit, has acquired Munich, Germany-based digital flight control developer Amazilia Aerospace.
Amazilla, which was founded in 2018 and employs around 30 people also develops flight guidance and vehicle management systems for civil manned and unmanned aircraft.

Textron eAviation added that the acquisition will strengthen its internal capabilities and that the Amazilia Aerospace team will work closely with Textron eAviation’s Pipistrel team on aircraft such as the special missions aircraft the Surveyor and Nuuva cargo drone.
