The Bell 505 Jet Range X can be configured for different missions

The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X has been certified for use in China by its Civil Aviation Administration.

There are 110 aircraft on order for customers in China. Patrick Moulay, senior vice president, Commercial Business – International for Bell, said, “We are thrilled to receive this certification in one of the fastest growing markets for the Bell 505.

“This achievement marks the Bell 505’s continued international success and broadens its global presence.”

The single-engine Bell 505 Jet Ranger X has modernized avionics and an airframe made of metal and composites. A clean sheet design with a rotor inherited from the Bell 206L-4, the light helicopter made its maiden flight in November 2014.

The helicopter has a flat floor and open cabin that can be configured to accommodate four passengers for corporate travel or to carry cargo.
