AutoFlight has delivered the CarryAll aircraft to Heli Chuangxing Intelligent this week, marking the first eVTOL aircraft exceeding one-ton maximum takeoff weight to achieve complete airworthiness certification.
The delivery follows flight testing exceeding 25,000 miles (40,000km) across multiple international locations.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China approved the Airworthiness Certificate for the CarryAll on July 21, completing the final stage of initial airworthiness certification review. The aircraft now holds all three essential airworthiness certifications: Type Certificate for design approval, Production Certificate for manufacturing authorization, and Airworthiness Certificate for individual aircraft certification.
The CarryAll features a maximum takeoff weight of 4,409lb (2 tons), payload capacity of 882lb (400kg), cruise speed up to 124mph (200km/h), and range up to 124 miles (200km). The fully electric unmanned aircraft combines vertical takeoff and landing capabilities with fixed-wing cruise efficiency for low-altitude logistics, emergency supply delivery, and disaster response missions.
AutoFlight’s development program encompassed testing across several operational environments in China, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. Flight operations were conducted across plains, plateaus, deserts, forests, and over oceans and rivers to validate aircraft performance and operational scenarios.
The delivery to Heli Chuangxing Intelligent represents a strategic partnership with a low-altitude operation services provider. The company serves as the core platform for Heli Chuangxing Group’s low-altitude transportation business and is implementing low-altitude economic scenarios.
AutoFlight continues advancing its product portfolio with development of the Prosperity, a five-seat manned aircraft progressing through airworthiness certification. Multiple certification plans have received regulatory approval, with the aircraft approaching the compliance verification stage.
