V&V Test Engineer



Specification, operation and maintenance of test rigs for electrical machine testing

Layout of electric power supplies for drive train and system test benches up to the megawatt class

Specification, planning and implementation of test rigs in aerospace drive train applications and the required laboratory infrastructure

Definition of the qualification and certification test strategy and test programme of electric propulsion systems (subsystem and equipment level)

Definition of verification means and test cases according to the requirements on subsystem and equipment level (DO-160)

Support in requirement validation

Conducting, analysis and documentation of tests mainly on subsystem and equipment level

Analysis and reporting of problems

Technical contact for development team


Academic degree in aerospace, electrical or mechatronics engineering or technical training as a technician in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace or testing

Several years of work experience in equipment and component testing preferably in the aerospace sector (V&V process)

Knowledge and experience of DO-160 and similar environmental test standards, others as ARP4754 are an asset

Good understanding of electric drives systems as well as dedicated testing strategies and methods

Experienced with the handling of high-voltage equipment (DGUV Vorschrift 3 or DIN VDE 0105-100)

Good working knowledge of software tools like Polarion, GitLab or similar tools

Experienced in data acquisition systems and analysis tools and presentation of results

Goal-oriented, structured, independent and enduring working attitude, high initiative, creativity and dependability

Proficient English language skills, German proficiency is an asset
