Job Description
The successful candidate will serve as the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) functional leader for Engineering, Test & Technology (ET&T) headquartered in Seattle, WA with responsibility for EHS support to all ET&T activities (includes Boeing Test & Evaluation, Boeing Research & Technology, Boeing AvionX, Boeing NeXt, and Aurora Flight Sciences). This position can be worked in any of the following locations: Ridley Park, PA; North Charleston, SC; Huntsville, AL; Saint Louis, MO; Mesa, AZ; El Segundo, CA; or Seattle, WA.

They will establish and maintain partnerships with ET&T leaders, stakeholders and the EHS team in order to help align ET&T with the “Go For Zero” and “Build a Better Planet values while achieving ET&T goals and objectives.


  • Improve environmental impacts
  • Lead for an incident and injury free workplace
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and other requirement
  • Operate an effective and efficient EHS program
  • Partner with Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) leadership to align with aviation Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Plans and manages operating resources to achieve the long range business plan (LRBP)
  • Ensures EHS program deliverables are accomplished in a timely and effective manner
  • Provides a high level of support for functional partners and stakeholders across multiple sites and location

Develop Future Leaders by:

  • Mentoring EHS team members to provide opportunities for growth
  • Coaching and developing team members to improve and sustain a high level of performance

Required Qualifications:

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years in the deployment and administration of policies, procedures, and processes
  • 3+ years leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports)
  • 3+ years managing or leading people or teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years deploying occupational health and safety programs in an industrial setting
  • 5+ years in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
