That’s why for our Munich location we’re looking for a software validator (control and monitoring of engine systems)
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Analyze the system requirements to be tested and derive the extent of testing
• Test safety-critical engine control and monitoring system software and document test results
• Perform the work taking internal requirements and design guidelines as well as internationally recognized development guidelines into account
• Support the flight approval effort for safety-critical systems
• Cooperate with software and hardware engineers in integrated development teams
• Cooperate in joint ventures with development partners and customers in Germany and abroad
• Cooperation in the development of validation procedures and methods for safety-critical software
• Provide support in the coordination and performance of gate/design reviews
• Cooperate in the definition of contents, scope and duration of work packages
• Provide technical support to staff
Qualification:
• Degree in electrical engineering, control engineering or aerospace engineering (university or technical college) or comparable education
• Experience in the area of development and testing of control and monitoring systems
• Experience in the field of airborne systems and equipment certification (DO178B, RTCA)
• Proficiency in the use of software development tools (e.g. MATLAB / Simulink, DOORS, Dimensions)
• Proficiency in the use of software validation tools (e.g. dSpace, Lauterbach Debugger, Python, etc.)
• Good command of the English language
• Readiness to take on responsibilities
• Good presentation skills
• Team-player skills
