That’s why for our Munich location we’re looking for a software developer (control and monitoring of engine systems).
Tasks and responsibilities include:
• Design and develop embedded systems and their software for safety-critical aviation applications
• Cooperate in the preparation of requirements analyses, control and monitoring system designs, development concepts, hardware and software timing, software architectures, cooperate in the implementation of software and definition of development tests, in hardware and software integration and acceptance testing
• Design development processes and methods for embedded systems
• Cooperate in the implementation and optimization of development processes on the basis of international standards, development, preparation of requirements analyses and in configuration management
• Cooperate in the selection, optimization and use of computer-aided tools for the development of embedded systems
• Cooperate in the preparation of the relevant development and product documentation in accordance with international standards
• Perform results analyses and present the results internally and to the boards of international cooperative ventures
• Prepare and perform project gating, take on the chairman's role under international cooperation projects and the role of an independent expert
• Provide support for supplier reviews
• Cooperate in the definition of work packages and delegate the work to employees
Qualification:
• Degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Information Technology (university or technical college) or comparable education
• Experience in the area of embedded software development
• Proficiency in the use of software development tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, Dimensions)
• Knowledge of micro-processors and their integrated interfaces as well as electronic hardware circuitry
• Proficiency in the English language
• Organization skills, customer orientation, team-player skills
