About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Test Engineer (Environmental) to join the Product Testing team at our corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida. In this position, you will be responsible for Environmental Product or Component Test Engineering. The qualified candidate will be familiar with vibration and shock theory, thermodynamics analysis and applications, NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) theory and usage a plus. Strong commitment to team projects and deadlines is required. The chosen candidate will be expected to work independently and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
• BSEE or BSME Degree required. 4+ years of Environmental Product or Component Test Engineering experience.
• Experienced senior level Vibration/Shock Test Engineer/Specialist with 10+ year’s direct technical experience in setting up and running complex vibration & shock tests.
• Must have an excellent mechanical background with extensive hands-on use of digital vibration shock control systems and electro-dynamic shakers.
• Environmental test & equipment usage per MIL-STD 810, 883 & 750 requirements for testing microcircuits & semiconductor devices, or automotive equivalent (SAE, ASTM, etc.)
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
• Experience operating Network & Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Sources, Amplifiers, Oscilloscopes & Digital Multi-meters.
• Strain Gage application a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Requires thorough understanding of the operational characteristics and biasing configurations of analog, digital, discreet & passive electronic components.
• Able to design, construct & document electrical, electro-mechanical & mechanical test fixturing.
• Able to set-up & conduct environmental, vibration/shock, & electrical tests of electrical components & electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Computer skills to include: MS Word, Excel, Access & generic CAD.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment and to train and direct the work of others.
