James Webb Space Telescope cryogenic testing time lapse

With its nine-month stay in Texas coming to an end, this time-lapse shows activity in the NASA Johnson Space Center's Chamber A cleanroom from the arrival of the Webb Telescope's optical and instrument segment through to its roll out from the chamber after completing its cryogenic testing.

Boeing tests large cargo drone

In less than three months, a team of engineers designed and built the unmanned cargo air vehicle (CAV) prototype. The innovative vehicle will be used to test and evolve Boeing’s autonomous technology for future aerospace vehicles.

Experior Laboratories, a Southern California based third party test laboratory, is approved for MIL-STD-790 by the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime, is approved by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and is ISO-17025:2005 accredited, as well as a proud test service supplier to NASA’s Space Launch System and Orion Deep Space Exploration Program.
Experior Laboratories operates multiple state-of-the-art Unholtz-Dickie electrodynamic vibration systems that can handle the most demanding vibration and shock test specifications for rocket launch applications and other severe profiles.
Vibration systems used in tandem can provide a combined 80,000 lbf for extreme profiles of large articles. Supported profiles are Sine Sweep, Sine Dwell, Sine Burst, Random, Sine on Random, Random on Random, Windmilling, Gunfire and Cargo Transportation Vibration.
For Pyroshock/SRS Shock requirements that exceed the 5,000 G limit of an electrodynamic shaker, Experior Laboratories designed a custom Kinetic Impact Pyroshock Simulation system for G levels greater than 30,000 G’s.
Vibration and shock profiles can be performed at temperature and a clean room is available upon request.
Additionally, Experior Laboratories offers a wide range of climatic, mechanical and materials type testing.
