360° view of RS-25 rocket engine test

This video offers a unique 360° perspective of the RS-25 engine hot-fire test at Stennis Space Center near Bay St Louis, Mississippi on February 22. From each of vantage points, the camera’s view can be rotated 360°. This highlight video shows part of the full six-minute 20-second testing of the development engine.

Adaptive Energy’s capabilities include digital radiography using a multitude of imaging media such as amorphous silicon digital panels, LDA, CMOS, and TDI; high energy X-ray digital radiographic imaging; and computed tomography systems for advanced, three-dimensional digital X-ray imaging. We design and build robotic scanner assemblies for specialized, remote, and extreme environment testing. We’ve built and installed custom radiation enclosures such as radiation cabinets, vaults and overhead X-ray tube gantry systems. We’ve helped companies perform weld inspection using ultrasonic and radiographic tests to meet AWS, ASME and ASTM standards, and to do material evaluation for cracks, porosity, inclusions, corrosion, and dimensional characteristics, and inspect composite materials for delamination, layer separation, and honeycomb structure analysis.
