Founded in 1987, TechSAT ranks among the market leaders in the development and production of realtime systems for the simulation, integration, validation, testing, analysis, and maintenance of avionics systems. The company, which is located in Poing near Munich, Germany, also maintains sales and support offices in Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Seattle.
TechSAT’s 90+ engineers and qualified specialists have created a wide range of off the-shelf hardware and software solutions. Major product lines include avionics bus testers and simulators, such as the brand-new mobile all-in-one A350 AFDX® Test Tool Suite; intelligent I/O interface cards for ARINC 664/AFDX®, ARINC 429, and MIL-STD-1553; A615A and A615-3/4 data loader systems for ARINC 664/AFDX®, ARINC 429, and CAN; protocol simulations for various aircraft types, such as A380 / A400M / B787 CMS reference tools; as well as network devices, such as a 16 / 24-channel AFDX switch for lab use.

TechSAT’s unique expertise and primary business focus lie in the design and engineering of customer-specific system solutions. The flagship and driver of technology is the tried-and tested, second-generation Avionics Development System Integration Bench (ADS2-SIB) – a modular and highly flexible integrated software and hardware platform for the development and integration of electronic control systems. It was TechSAT that supplied the bulk of the test units for the integration of the A380 avionics systems to Airbus Germany. Additional units were delivered to Airbus component suppliers (Diehl Avionik, Nord-Micro, Parker Hannifin (USA)). Other ADS2-based test stations went to MTU (Eurofighter engine controller) and EADS Ulm (A400M MTF program). Recently, Airbus Germany has again selected TechSAT to provide the complete set of test facilities for the A350 cabin integration and verification.

TechSAT was also awarded several contracts in the significant Asian market, including a test system for the development and productization of an AFDX switch and a test facility for AFDX network integration.
